One Box, Three Vial Sizes: The Dual-Depth Cavity That Ends Packaging Sprawl
The dual-depth cavity: flip it for 2 ml or 5 ml, lift it out for 15 ml — no adapters, no second insert, no tools.
Every vial brand eventually runs into the same wall. You launch with a 5 ml vial, then add a 2 ml companion product, then a 15 ml value size — and suddenly your packaging shelf holds three different boxes for three different vials, your MOQs stack up, and your logo looks different on each one.
Our answer is a box that refuses to pick a size. The Multi-Size Vial Storage Box is a six-slot PETG case built around one clever printed part — a cylindrical cavity with the same 16 mm bore on both ends, but two different depths. Seat it deep-end-up and it holds a 16 mm 5 ml vial. Flip it over and the shallow end cradles a 16 mm 2 ml vial. No adapters, no second insert, no tools — the size change is a wrist motion.
31-second factory demo: opening the lid, lifting the cavities, loading 2 ml, 5 ml and 15 ml vials in one box.

Six Slots, Decided One by One
Every slot in the insert is independent. Cavity in, a slot takes any 16 mm vial — 2 ml or 5 ml, flipped for depth. Lift that one cavity out and the same bore takes over, cut at 22 mm to hold a 15 ml glass vial directly. Because the choice is made slot by slot, a single box can carry 2 × 2 ml, 2 × 5 ml and 2 × 15 ml side by side — or six of one size, or any other split. That is three vial sizes from a single SKU, and it is the reason we describe this case as a multi-size vial box rather than a fixed-format case.
| Vial | Bore | How the slot takes it |
|---|---|---|
| 2 ml | 16 mm | Cavity in, shallow end up |
| 5 ml | 16 mm | Cavity in, deep end up |
| 15 ml | 22 mm | Cavity lifted out — the vial sits in the bare bore |
The fit is where the "high-end" part earns its name. Cavity height matches insert height, so a seated vial finishes exactly flush with the insert face. Close the lid and a 5 mm foam sheet bonded inside it presses down on every cap at once. Open the box and the presentation reads like a display case — every cap level, nothing loose, nothing rattling — whether you are holding two vials or six.
Built the Way Our Vial Boxes Are Always Built
The shell, insert and cavities are 3D printed in PETG — impact-resistant and dimensionally stable in transit — with a textured finish that shrugs off fingerprints. The closure is the same system used across our PETG vial box family: stainless pin hinges and an over-center PETG strap latch, so the strap matches the case in material and finish. Because the geometry is printed rather than molded, customization is genuinely practical at small volumes: Pantone-matched solid colors for the shell, lid, strap and cavities, and UV logo printing on both the lid top and the base bottom — so the brand is visible closed, and again in use.
Every batch passes our in-house test line before packing. It is the same release standard our vial packaging has shipped under since 1994, from a 15,000㎡ factory floor:
Who It Is For
MOQ is 20 pieces, with 15–25 day lead time after artwork approval and samples in 5–7 days. Indicative pricing runs US $4.20–$5.20 per box — a general quotation rather than a floor or a ceiling, since your firm number moves with how much customization you add (print positions, Pantone colors, a re-cut cavity) and with volume. Logo printing on the lid and base is free from 50 pieces. For a young brand, that means one box, three sizes, your colors and your logo — without betting a full production run on any single vial size.
