One Box, Six Slots — Mix 2ml, 5ml & 15ml Any Way You Need

The insert carries six round bores, and every slot is decided on its own. Leave the cavity (we also call it a sleeve) in and that slot takes a 16 mm vial; lift that one cavity out and the same bore holds a 22 mm vial. That single part is what makes this a true multi-size vial box — not a box you pick one size for, but a box you load size by size.

A 16 mm slot — 2ml or 5ml, flip the cavity to switch

Each cavity is printed with the same 16 mm bore on both ends but two different depths. Seat it deep-end-up for a 16 mm 5ml vial, flip it shallow-end-up for a 16 mm 2ml vial. No tools, no second insert.

A 22 mm slot — 15ml with that cavity lifted out

Lift one cavity out and its bore takes a 22 mm 15ml glass vial on its own. Lift two and two slots go 22 mm; lift all six for a full box of 15ml. Removed cavities store flat in the shipping carton.

One box, any combination — six slots, three sizes

Because the slots are independent, a single box can ship 2 × 2ml + 2 × 5ml + 2 × 15ml, six of one size, or any other split you need. The 5 mm lid foam presses every cap flat whatever the mix — that is the whole point of a multi-size vial storage box.

Why vials sit dead-still

Cavity height equals insert height, so a seated vial’s cap finishes flush with the insert face. Closing the lid brings the 5 mm top foam down onto every cap at once — the “high-end, everything flush” look in the photos, with zero rattle in transit. The base has no foam by design: the rigid PETG floor is the reference surface.

Same Closure as Our PETG Vial Box Family

The lid runs on two stainless pin hinges and closes with an over-center PETG strap latch — the same closure system as the rest of our custom PETG vial boxes, so a customer who already stocks one model gets identical handling. The shell is printed as one piece with reinforced corners, and the strap is printed in the same PETG as the shell.

Materials & Construction

Shell, insert and cavities are 3D printed in PETG — impact-resistant, chemical-tolerant, and dimensionally stable in transit. PETG is vacuum-dried before printing. Textured surface finish keeps fingerprints and scuffs off the look. Hinge pins and latch screws are stainless; the strap is printed in the same PETG as the shell; lid foam is a 5 mm closed-cell sheet bonded inside the lid.

FAQ — Multi-Size Vial Storage Box

How do I switch a slot between 2ml and 5ml vials?
Flip the cavity. Both ends share the same 16 mm bore; the deep end seats a 5ml vial, the shallow end a 2ml vial. No tools, no extra parts.
Can I mix 2ml, 5ml and 15ml vials in one box?
Yes — it is built for that, slot by slot. Cavity in for a 16 mm 2ml or 5ml vial, that cavity lifted out for a 22 mm 15ml vial. Any combination adding up to six vials, e.g. 2 × 2ml + 2 × 5ml + 2 × 15ml.
Do the 15ml vials need anything extra?
No. Remove the six cavities and the bare bores hold 22 mm 15ml vials directly; the lid foam still presses the caps.
Where is the foam, and why is there none in the base?
The 5 mm foam sheet is bonded inside the lid only. The rigid PETG floor is the seating surface — cavities and bare bores are cut so vials rest flush, and the foam takes up the last few millimeters on closing.
Can you print my logo, and where?
Yes — UV printing on the lid top and base bottom, free from 50 pcs. Send AI/PDF artwork; we return a mockup for approval before production.
What are the MOQ, lead time and sample terms?
