The foam insert is die-cut, not a loose pad: each of the five cavities wraps a single vial so vials never touch each other and glass never meets hard plastic. The tray lifts out in one piece, which means we can re-cut it for a different vial diameter or length without touching the rest of the vial storage box — one shell, several vial programs. The shell is 3D printed from BPA-free PETG — our standard plastic vial storage box material, picked for impact resistance, low moisture absorption and clean color rendering, and because it stays dimensionally stable across fridge and transit temperatures instead of warping or going brittle. Inside, a die-cut sponge foam tray cushions the glass, and the shell closes on a snap-fit flip latch carried by a stainless screw-pin hinge. For branding, CMYK and Pantone matching are run on the same production line.
